Take the N85 toward Sisteron / Aix-en-Provence. In Mallemoisson, turn right at the traffic lights and follow the D17 towards Thoard. After Les Bourres, follow the D3 to the col (pass) de Fontbelle. The road then descends to the village of Authon. The Sentinelle - Vallée du Vançon stands in a bend along the road, 1 km from the village.

NB : the Font-Belle pass is closed to traffic in winter. During this time, the Sentinel – Vallée du Vançon (60 km / 1 hr 10 mins) is accessible via Sisteron and St-Geniez.
