To ensure the best possible experience when visiting the various *Refuges d'Art*, we ask visitors to comply with the rules set out in these terms of use. Visitors must sign both these rules and a register acknowledging that they have read and understood them.

Booking and Key Collection

Bookings for the refuges are managed exclusively by the City of Digne-les-Bains’ museum and arts department. While the Musée Gassendi is closed, the key must be collected from the Maison David-Néel reception desk following a confirmed booking.
Anyone wishing to visit a refuge must submit a request to the Maison David-Néel reception desk by calling 04 92 31 32 38.

Arrival: Visitors must report to the Maison David-Néel reception desk on the day of their booking to collect the key.

In addition, visitors must complete an information form, sign the register confirming they have read the rules, and leave an identity card with the museum; this will be returned when the key is handed back.

Return: The key must be returned to the Maison David-Néel reception desk, at which point the identity card will be returned to the visitor.
Furthermore, the person borrowing the key to a refuge is held responsible for it. Failure to return the key will result in an obligation to pay a fee of €800, covering the cost of replacing the locks on all the refuges.

Duration: The visitor signing this one-day agreement may under no circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises or keep the keys beyond the one-day period.

Cancellation Policy: The Digne-les-Bains City Museum and Arts Department reserves the right to cancel the reservation in the event of *force majeure*.

Insurance: The visitor is liable for any damage caused by their actions. Visitors are advised to take out holiday/vacation insurance to cover these risks. Due to the unique nature of the shelter, the Digne-les-Bains City Museum and Arts Department accepts no liability for theft occurring inside or outside the premises.

Conduct and House Rules

Signing this contract implies agreement to and compliance with the following rules. Failure to comply will result in the visitor being held liable. Visitors are required to observe and ensure observance of the following rules:

Prohibitions within the Refuges d'Art (Art Shelters):
Children unaccompanied by their parents are prohibited from spending the night.
Use of candles inside the shelters.
Leaving behind trash (including empty bottles and food scraps).
Lighting fires in the vicinity of the shelters between March 15 and October 15.
Moving the furniture located inside.
Sleeping in the shelter between December 10 and March 21.

Obligations within the Refuges d'Art (Art Shelters):
Respect the artworks.
If using the fireplace, ensure the fire is extinguished before leaving.
Report any damage to the property upon your return.
Carry two mobile phones and check for network coverage upon arrival. Respect the cleanliness, equipment, and indoor and outdoor environments of the shelters.
Close windows and doors securely when leaving.

The shelters will be closed in the event of snowfall.
